About the role

We are seeking an experienced, visionary Directors of Sales to lead critical segments within the ReRentals business:

  • Director, Mid-Market Rentals Sales – leading a distributed team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and 50+ sales professionals across the multifamily market.
  • Director, Single Family Rentals Sales – leading multiple RSMs supporting the expansion of Single-Family Rentals business across the U.S.

The Director will drive go-to-market execution, accelerate revenue growth, and develop future sales leaders within their respective organizations. You will play a key role in shaping sales strategy, optimizing operational excellence, and representing ReRentals across the industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams of Regional Sales Managers responsible for large geographic territories and revenue portfolios.
  • Own business performance across revenue growth, retention, productivity, and engagement metrics.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Strategy, and Enablement to define segmentation, coverage models, and sales processes that support scalable growth.
  • Champion Challenger-based selling practices and coach leaders through structured development and performance programs.
  • Build a culture of excellence, inclusion, and accountability while celebrating wins and fostering engagement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience to enhance client success and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Serve as an external ambassador for ReRentals at industry conferences, client meetings, and trade events — representing the brand with thought leadership and credibility.
  • Leverage data-driven insights (Salesforce, Tableau, and other analytics tools) to forecast performance, identify trends, and drive business decisions.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales management talent, building succession plans and leadership pipelines.
  • (Single Family focus) Drive adoption of innovative technology and sales enablement tools across the Rentals ecosystem.
  • (Mid-Market focus) Ensure balanced execution across acquisition, renewal, and expansion through disciplined sales planning.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

What we are looking for: 

  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing other sales managers.
  • Proven success leading distributed or hybrid B2B sales organizations in high-growth environments.
  • Skilled at using data and analytics to coach leaders and guide decision-making.
  • Experienced in digital advertising, SaaS, or real estate industries preferred.
  • Exceptional communicator, motivator, and culture builder who thrives on leading through change and innovation.
  • Adept at managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Passionate about team development and continuous improvement.
  • Travel required:
    • Up to 50% for the Mid-Market Rentals Sales role
    • 25–30% for the Single Family Rentals Sales role
